Adoption Conditions

To ensure wellbeing and serenity for our kittens and their new families, we follow clear and transparent rules throughout every stage of adoption.

  • Delivery at 14 weeks of age

    • Kittens leave our home and join their new families only after reaching 14 weeks of age.
    • This period is essential for healthy and complete development near their mother and siblings.
  • Health guarantee and genetic testing

    • All our adult cats are tested for the most common conditions: FIV, FeLV, PKD and HCM.
    • A copy of the test results is provided to new owners at handover.
  • Original pedigree

    • Each kitten is placed with an original FIFe or WCF pedigree, protecting lineage and breed integrity.
    • We also provide a copy of both parents pedigrees.
  • Complete veterinary care

    • Kittens receive two deworming cycles and two vaccinations.
    • At delivery, a health booklet is provided to certify their good health condition.
  • Updates and ongoing support

    • After reservation, we regularly share photos, videos and growth updates.
    • We remain available over time for guidance and support, to help wellbeing and adaptation in the new home.
  • Companion kittens and neutering

    • Unless otherwise agreed, kittens are placed with companion pedigree.
    • Neutering is required around 6 to 8 months, or when indicated by your veterinarian, once the kitten reaches about 70 to 80 percent of expected adult weight.
    • We do not neuter kittens before delivery because we consider them too young for early surgery.
  • Breeding pedigree

    • Placement with breeding pedigree is possible only after a specific agreement before contract signing.
    • We do not place kittens in isolation-cage breeding facilities or mixed-breed programs: we carefully select families and breeders.
  • Kittens for abroad

    • For international placement, rabies vaccination, legal waiting periods and an international passport are required.
    • Additional costs for documents and vaccinations are covered by the buyer.
  • Reservation, deposit and waiting list

    • A kitten is considered reserved only after receiving a 350 euro deposit.
    • In case of reconsideration, the deposit is generally non-refundable, except for justified exceptions communicated promptly.
    • A free waiting list is available for those who want an Imperial Line kitten but are not ready to reserve yet.
  • Shipping and travel

    • Whenever possible, we prefer direct handover or pickup by the new family.
    • Air transport for abroad is possible, while courier shipment is not accepted.
  • Our daily commitment

    • We raise kittens at home and gradually prepare them for domestic life and socialization.
    • Before handover, we make sure they are independent, healthy and confident in human contact.
    • Habituation to everyday home sounds.
    • Socialization with people and other cats.
    • Grooming training: brush, nail care, first bath.
    • Correct litter box habits.
    • Independent feeding with quality wet and dry food.
    • Regular updates with photos, videos and temperament notes.
    • Delivery of a kitten in excellent health condition.
    • Complimentary starter kit with food, toy and blanket.
  • Relationship with new families

    • We maintain continuous and friendly contact with families even after placement.
    • We answer questions and provide support to ensure kittens have an ideal environment.
