I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the countryside at my grandparents' home, I was always surrounded by animals of all kinds. That is where I learned the basics of breeding, witnessing the birth and growth of various domestic animals. Most importantly, it was there that my deep love for animals was born—a bond so strong that I cannot imagine my life without them. When I moved to the city, I felt the void left by that connection. I shared my life with several pets until I brought home my first Siberian cat, Cassie. It was then that I discovered their extraordinary beauty, temperament, and uniqueness, falling head over heels in love with the breed.

This passion led me to combine my devotion to animals with my desire to be surrounded by them, turning it into a life project: a boutique cattery dedicated to traditional Siberian and Neva Masquerade cats, named Imperial Line. The name Imperial Line has a special story. While traveling through Romania and visiting the majestic Peleș Castle in Sinaia, I decided to give my cattery a strong and meaningful identity.

The name evokes an imaginary "imperial line" that represents my ambition: selecting high-quality Siberians from excellent bloodlines worldwide, studying their genetics, and creating a unique lineage that embodies beauty, hypoallergenic qualities, health, and strict adherence to breed standards. Today, this dream is a reality. With every kitten born, I strive to honor that vision, offering the world cats that are not only stunning but also reflect the passion, dedication, and respect I pour into every step of my work.

From day one, we have set very high standards for ourselves in the selection, breeding, and care of our cats. We don’t simply “breed cats”; instead, we place the well-being and development of healthy, happy cats with unique personalities at the heart of our work.

All our cats live with us in our home, not in cages. To us, every cat is a member of the family. We treat them with love and respect, and welcome them into our daily lives. Once their breeding careers are over, they remain with us or our family forever, enjoying the peace and pampering they deserve.

We place special emphasis on starting the kittens’ socialization from day one. Thanks to this commitment, our kittens develop an affectionate, playful, and particularly gentle temperament, typical of the Siberian breed. This allows our kittens to adapt easily to their new family, bringing serenity and joy to every home.

4. Champion Potential

Our ambition is not only to breed healthy cats but to raise kittens with the potential to become champions. We carefully select each mating, focusing on cats that can best represent the breed and compete successfully in cat shows.

For us, it is essential to respect the dignity and well-being of every cat. For this reason, we never place kittens with individuals or breeders who keep them in cages or under suboptimal conditions. We firmly believe that every animal deserves a loving environment where it can grow, socialize, and live happily.

We don’t just hand over a kitten: we are committed to supporting the families who decide to welcome one of our kittens into their homes. We offer continuous support, answering questions, providing advice, and following the kitten’s progress to ensure it settles well into its new home.

The health of our cats is our top priority. We are committed to ensuring that every kitten is perfectly healthy before delivery. We carefully monitor the health of our cats through regular veterinary checkups and ensure that every kitten is vaccinated, dewormed, and ready for a long and happy life.

8. Education on Awareness and Respect for the Breed

We aim to educate our clients about the characteristics of the Siberian breed and its specific needs. Educating people on how to properly care for a Siberian cat, respecting its nature and needs, is a core value for us.

9. Selective Breeding

To ensure we give every cat the care and love it deserves, we breed only a small number of cats. This allows us to give each one the attention it needs.

10. Social Commitment

We believe in the importance of supporting less fortunate animals. Our passion for Siberian cats in no way limits our ability to love, appreciate, and above all, help other animal species. For this reason, we regularly commit to contributing, within our means, through donations to shelters and organizations that care for animals in need. It is our way of giving back some of the love that every animal deserves.

To ensure that our cattery meets the high standards we have set for ourselves, we regularly participate in cat shows. Unlike other breeders, our current goal is not to win as many awards and prizes as possible, as this would require participating in numerous competitions, including those abroad, and would cause too much stress for our cats. Instead, we prefer to have each of our cats participate in at least one event to highlight their strengths and identify any areas for improvement. This helps us refine our breeding practices and maintain the excellence of our cats over time.

Since they are judged by experts who evaluate temperament, body structure, coat, and color, we believe it is essential to preserve the standards of the Siberian and Neva Masquerade breeds. The evaluations received during cat shows provide us with valuable insights on how to improve and maintain the quality of our cats, ensuring that every kitten meets the high standards of beauty and temperament required by the breed.

From the moment we discovered this extraordinary breed, we fell in love with its affectionate, calm, and energetic nature. Every cat grows up in a loving and stimulating environment, where it receives constant care and attention focused on its physical and emotional well-being. We believe that a good start is essential for a long and happy life, and we are committed to carefully monitoring the health and development of our kittens.

Our goal is to help more and more people discover and fall in love with Siberian cats, finding the perfect family for each kitten. We carefully select the families who will welcome one of our kittens, to ensure they grow up in a peaceful environment, filled with love and responsible care. As a small cattery driven by our love for this breed, we focus on quality rather than quantity, dedicating all the time and love necessary to each kitten to ensure their happiness and health, and we want their new families to be able to do the same.
